Help:Multiple Children or Siblings

Children and siblings, like all WikiTree profiles, are added to WikiTree one at a time, i.e. by following an "add child" or "add sibling" link.

This may seem inefficient. Why can't you add multiple children or siblings at the same time? This is something we may add in the future, but it won't save you as much time as you'd first expect.

When you add a new person, we search for possible matches in the database. We look to see if anyone by that name already exists. To avoid creating duplicates, you're asked to review the matches. Since you would need to do this for each name, adding multiple names would still require multiple steps.
